Zimbabwe is endowed with large economic development potential. Its bountiful wildlife, agricultural opportunities, natural landscapes, natural resources, skilled labour, and high literacy rate collectively presents huge opportunities for trade and investment.
The Government of Zimbabwe (GOZ) welcomes Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to improve the country’s international competitiveness and support sustainable economic growth and development. The Zimbabwe Investment Development Agency (ZIDA), assists both foreign and local investors navigate the country’s regulatory environment.

The Purpose of the “Zimbabwe Country Focus Seminar” is to:
1. Create a platform for experts from Zimbabwe to share their knowledge and experience.
2. Create increased awareness of trade and investment opportunities available within each of the priority sectors identified in Zimbabwe.
3. Create awareness of the realities of doing business in Zimbabwe.
4. Deliberate and understand the modalities and requirements for interaction between South African and Zimbabwe, relating to the protocols for trade and investment, bilateral agreements etc. (eg. Protocols and trade tariffs etc.)
5. Encourage South Africans to network and become more aggressive by taking advantage of the trade and investment opportunities available within Zimbabwe.

Administration and Event Management:
Innovative Entrepreneurs NPC will manage all the administrative and events management logistics as follows:
Identification of a suitable venue.
Secure the venue
Prepare the Guest list in collaboration with the Embassy of Zimbabwe noting the agreed target audience which is noted as medium and large private sector companies with a vested interest in the identified priority sectors.
Design and send out invitations to the agreed Guest list
Prepare the sponsorship packages
Work in collaboration with the Embassy of Zimbabwe to identify potential sponsors.
Approach potential sponsors and secure sponsors
Manage the RSVP process
Invite the media
Work in collaboration with the Embassy of Zimbabwe to identify expert speakers
Secure all speaker availability including speaker logistics relating to speaker biographies and photos
Develop the programme of events proceedings in collaboration with the Embassy of Zimbabwe.
Manage the registration area on the day of the event (including name badges, VIP Guests, Media, Sponsors etc.)
Enquire all Sponsor expectations are met.
To manage event logistics (sound, AV, presentations, Hybrid links etc.).
To implement any other necessary support services towards the success of the Zimbabwe Country Focus Seminar.
